Contemporary Learning Systems, Inc. (CLS), a Michigan-based 501(c)(3) media education company, has funded development of a documentary series that examines the issues related to the fierce debate over legal immigration since “family reunification” became the new law of the land in 1965. A 7-part series of documentary “shorts” is now available with its geographical focus on Holland, Michigan, a city being transformed by “new” Asian and Hispanic immigrants.
But, as you will see in this Trailer, CLS production teams have visited many areas in the U.S. to see how different types of communities handle problems related to increasing numbers of “new” immigrants entering the U.S. every year. A documentary series featuring these communities is in development.
CLS has also funded the production of electronic learning modules on the subject of population and immigration in America for release in the fall of 2017.
